Groundbreaking ceremony for the new Bomber Agile Common Hangar

Military and civic leaders, including Brig. Gen. Lindsay Droz, commander of the Oklahoma City Air Logistics Complex; Col. Cisco Harris, Installation and 72nd Air Base Wing commander; Col. Spencer Turner, B-52 system program manager; and Kenton Tsoodle, president and CEO of The Alliance for Economic Development of Oklahoma City Inc., break ground on the new Bomber Agile Common Hangar at Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma, Aug. 7, 2026. The massive weapon-system-agnostic facility will bridge generations of long-range strike capabilities, accelerating B-52 Stratofortress modernization while posturing the base as the future maintenance hub for the B-21 Raider.
