TINKER AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. --

For 14 May, Tinker AFB remains in HPCON Charlie due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The latest COVID-19 confirmed case is a member of 552 ACW who returned from deployment on 1 May and went straight to quarantine. Health officials are actively tracing all recent movements and contacts in conjunction with affected units and local health authorities. Anyone considered to have been exposed to increased risk will be contacted directly.

This week and next week, free gun locks are available for members who work on base. The locks are available on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. this week and next week at Bldg. 7003. This is in effort to further protect households and putting time and space between a person in distress and their access to lethal means. For non-medical COVID-19 concerns, the Straight Talk Center is available from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday thru Friday. It can be reached at 405-734-2567.
