For August 5, Tinker AFB remains in HPCON Bravo Plus due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The latest organizations and buildings where cases have occurred include OC-ALC and AFSC/PK in buildings 2136, 9001, 3001, and 2121. Health officials are actively tracing all recent movements and contacts in conjunction with affected units and local health authorities. Anyone considered to have been exposed to increased risk will be contacted directly.

The MyAirForceBenefits homepage now features a list of current COVID-19 resource links. The site provides pertinent information created by other government organizations on actions, changes and benefits provided during this time. The Community College of the Air Force announced plans for a new degree program slated for launch in 2021. The new Associate of Applied Science in Military Technology and Applied Sciences Management degree is a flexible alternative for enlisted personnel serving in Air Force specialties lacking enough formal skills training to meet current degree program requirements.
