Tinker Frontlines: Meet Senior Airman Jaiyda Hale

Senior Airman Jaiyda Hale, a lab technician with the 72nd Medical Support Squadron, is originally from Columbus, Ohio, and has served in the U.S. Air Force for two years.

As the COVID-19 response ramped up at Tinker, Hale volunteered to help with pharmacy services. She has helped deliver prescriptions to customers in their vehicles in the overflow parking of the 72nd Medical Group and also assisted with putting away medications, stocking supplies and working in the drive-thru.

As opposed to her duties as a lab tech, Hale has been able to interact with many of the patients by helping serve in the pharmacy. She says everyone has been “really friendly” and she has enjoyed hearing their stories.

In her free time, Hale likes to draw cartoon characters.
