For 8 June, Tinker AFB remains in HPCON Charlie due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The latest COVID-19 confirmed case is a contractor who works for DISA in building 3900 who has been in quarantine since 28 May. Health officials are actively tracing all recent movements and contacts in conjunction with affected units and local health authorities. Anyone considered to have been exposed to increased risk will be contacted directly.

A new screening questionnaire has been published by the Medical Group. This is used for those at the clinic, as well as for individuals as they enter facilities around base. This week Tinker was selected to receive the newest tool from the Air Force Financial management community: the Comptroller Services Portal. This will allow customers to request and receive online assistance from the comptroller squadron, such as help with travel pay, military pay and civilian pay. CSP is scheduled to start in the next several weeks. For more info, read here: https://www.tinker.af.mil/News/Article-Display/Article/2209758/finances-made-easy-with-new-online-portal/

Late last week, the CSAF also approved a demo recording of the new Air Force Song, amending its lyrics to include more gender-neutral lyrics as a way to promote equality.
