TINKER AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. --

Frankie Knobloch has been an emergency management specialist in the Emergency Operations Center for four months.

The Houston, Texas, native retired from the Navy and enjoys woodworking, hunting, fishing and picking on his kids.

His main duties include reviewing instructions in the EOC, helping with plans and learning and getting qualified to be able to train others.

Knobloch said the best part of his job is helping navigate through the coronavirus pandemic, something that’s never happened in our lifetime.
