For July 24, Tinker AFB remains in HPCON Bravo Plus due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The latest confirmed cases include one member each from 72 ABW, 552 ACW, OC-ALC, and DLA (B6004, B282, B1083, B2210). Health officials are actively tracing all recent movements and contacts in conjunction with affected units and local health authorities. Anyone considered to have been exposed to increased risk will be contacted directly.

The Oklahoma State Department of Health has directed CARES Act funding towards addressing COVID-19 testing challenges. OSDH is working to modernize its testing system and have established contracts with in-state laboratories that could help mitigate issues with COVID-19 test result delays. The health department has also provided information on factors behind testing delays. Air and Space professionals will soon be more recognizable in their Operational Camouflage Pattern uniforms. OCP rank insignia, badges, name, and service tapes will now feature a lighter, three-color background pattern, versus the current seven-color pattern, to increase readability and ease rank recognition.
