Team Tinker,

Due to inclement weather, the 72nd Air Base Wing Commander has authorized a 2-HOUR DELAY, Oct. 27, for day shift tomorrow. Employees not designated as "weather emergency essential personnel" may take liberal leave without prior approval of their supervisors.  "Weather emergency essential personnel" are expected to report for work on time.

Also, Mid / Grave shifts on Oct. 27 will be granted early departure at 4 a.m., with the exception of designated emergency essential personnel. Military personnel should coordinate any absences from duty with their supervisor.

The Child Development Centers (CDCs) will open at 6 a.m. for mission-essential personnel only.  They will open at 8 a.m. for all others.

Tinker officials will continue to monitor the weather conditions and will issue operating status updates as needed.

Everyone should continue to monitor local TV and radio stations for Tinker status.  Also, you may go to Tinker’s public home page at www.tinker.af.mil or call our Straight Talkline at 734-TALK.  Please do NOT call base operations, the Tinker Command Post, or security forces for weather updates.
