Wing names Wildcatter Award winners

Members of the 72nd Air Base Wing were recently honored with Wildcatter Awards.

Senior Airman Patrice Wright, 72nd Security Forces Squadron personnel specialist
Airman Wright helped process 84 new squadron members, arranging sponsors, lodging and inprocessing. Airman Wright served as the unit fitness program manager and tracked 380 personnel, ensuring 95 percent were current, a level never reached. As a controller in the squadron unit control center, Airman Wright helped relay critical informational updates during crisis exercises. Airman Wright also volunteered for several charitable events in the local community.

Donna Harrell, 72nd Air Base Wing XP management analyst
Ms. Harrell is a management analyst in the Contingency Plans Division of the 72nd ABW Plans and Programs Office. Ms. Harrell was a key player in the establishment of the key processes for command and control of the Wartime Materiel Support. Ms. Harrell developed the process flow charts, assisted in developing the concept of operations document, established group mail boxes, checklists, and continuity books, coordinated with the Tinker command post to WMS recall checklists and provided training for each of the 12 appointed Mission Operations Directors helping them become on cohesive team.
Staff Sgt. Brian A. Harrison, NCOIC, Community Health, 72nd Aerospace Medicine Squadron
Sergeant Harrison managed the Employee Health program and applied a new in-processing program that achieved a 98 percent compliance rate, surpassing the Air Force goal by 8 percent. Sergeant Harrison liaised with and staffed the state H1N1 flu response center that took in approximately 1,100 calls. The center mitigated the public's fears and ensured accurate flu info was given out. He managed the review of more than 220 medical records for a short notice deployment, identifying errors, he averted delays. All of the chalks were on time. He also managed the recall of 140 food items and non of the items were consumed. He helped save three lives by spearheading a rabies exposure program.

Richard T. Jones, 72nd Air Base Wing Communications Directorate test program manager
As the DMAPS test program manager, Mr. Jones provides the oversight for customer acceptance testing for all of the applications in the DMAPS suite of software supporting financial, labor, material and production processes operating at the three Air Logistics Centers. He maintains configuration management of this AF test environment. His professionalism, competence and leadership have repeatedly resulted in testing being completed on schedule, allowing the command to deploy releases on time to the ALCs. Mr. Jones is a team player and freely shares his expertise with the rest of the organization. His wingman attitude and genuine enthusiasm for each task he takes on is always evident in the final product. His exceptional leadership skills enhance the internal communication between contractors, subject matter experts, developers, testers, ALC system OPRs, HQ AFMC Functional Advocates and HQ Logistics System Integrators.

Jeffory Wagner, 72nd ABW Communications Directorate
Mr. Wagner manages the Tinker Aerospace Complex Communications connectivity project, encompassing $6.5 million in telephone, network and radio requirements, providing critical information system support for the 76th MXW, DLA, 72nd ABW/CE, Boeing, Lockheed-Martin and the Oklahoma County government. His diligent oversight of these communications requirements has allowed Tinker to profoundly expand its capability to improve depot maintenance productivity to maximize opportunities and meet the customer's aircraft availability requirements His skills resulted in AFMC's second Voice over Internet Protocol acquisition worth more than $700,000. This new technology eliminates PC/telephone relocation costs. This modernized solution provides a cost avoidance of $100,000 annually.
