One of the four engines of wellness is spiritual wellness.
Many times, we try to find where we stand in our spiritual journey. No doubt we try to live lives that conform to our core values, but do they reflect our spirituality? A brief illustration about God's clinic can help us explore where we stand in relation to our spiritual wellness.
Today, I went to God's clinic for a routine check up and they confirmed that I was ill.
When God took my pressure, he noticed that I was lacking tenderness. When he took my temperature, the thermometer registered 40 degrees of anxiety.
Then he did an electrocardiogram and the diagnosis turned out to be that I needed veins of love, because my arteries were completely blocked with loneliness and couldn't supply what was needed for my empty heart.
I then went to the orthopedic department because I couldn't walk beside my brother and I couldn't give a hug because I had fractured my arms when I hit myself with envy.
He also found that I had myopia, I couldn't see beyond the negative things of my neighbor. When I complained about not hearing, God's diagnosis was that I had stopped hearing his voice every day.
This is why God has given me a free consultation and thanks to his great mercy, I promise that upon leaving this clinic I will only take the natural medicine prescribed.
When I wake up, drink a glass of thankfulness. When I get to work, take a tablespoon of peace. Every hour take a cup full of patience and a glass of humility. When I get home inject myself with a dose of love. And before I go to sleep, take two capsules of good conscience
Do not become depressed and don't be desperate for what is happening to you today. God knows how you feel. He knows perfectly well what he is allowing to happen in your life, in this precise moment.
