TINKER AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. -- Effective immediately, by order of the U.S. Northern Command commander, the Trusted Traveler Program is suspended. During the suspension period, a 100% ID check will be enforced at all gates for individuals 18 years-old and over. Individuals without a DoD-issued ID card are required to visit the Tinker Visitor Center during business hours to get a visitor’s pass.
The Tinker Visitor Center is located at the Tinker Gate on Air Depot Blvd. and is open from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday – Friday. When the Visitor Center is not open, a mobile patrol will process the request for a pass at the gate but expect significant delays.
Again, all non-DoD visitors will undergo standard identification checks and security procedures, regardless of their affiliation with a DoD-ID holder.
We are committed to maintaining a safe and secure environment and have full confidence in our ability to maintain a strong security posture while continuing to execute the mission. The safety and security of our installation, personnel and families remain our top priority.
Team Tinker, we ask for your continued vigilance and commitment to reporting suspicious activity as we follow this guidance. Please report any suspicious activities to the Emergency Control Center: 405-734-3737.
