(TINKER AIR FORCE BASE, OKLA) Lt. Col. Anthony Deckard, 552nd Operations Group, leads members of the 552nd Air Control Wing and 72nd Air Base Wing through the mapping of the mobility process used to deploy AWACS personnel. The 27-step mobility process itself wasn't an issue, according to Colonel Deckard, but there were not any quality control points to make sure small problems didn't grow into larger ones. (TINKER AIR FORCE BASE, OKLA) Members of the 960th Airborne Air Control Squadron file through a processing line Mar. 27 as they prepare for a deployment. The old deployment processes, which usually ended with Airmen here going through a processing line like this one, were costing the Air Force time and manhours due to lack of quality control at the different processing steps.
