The Tinker Career Development Fair was held Oct. 26 in Bldg. 3001.  The fair, hosted by the 72nd Force Support Squadron Education & Training Section, provided 325 Tinker employees an opportunity to visit with 16 colleges, universities and career technology centers. There were also 9 workplace enhancement services provided that included Civilian Training, the Education Services Center, Curriculum Development, Special Emphasis Programs, Affirmative Employment Programs, the Chapel, Junior Force Council, Civilian Mentoring Council, and the Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Program. Meegan Mackay leads an exercise with Tinker’s youth during the first annual Life Skills Academy, Sept. 27-28. In this particular exercise, adolescents created self-images which, split in half, portray how they view themselves internally and externally. This included adjectives and feelings, as well as physical features. In bettering confidence, public speaking and communication skills, the teens presented how they view themselves to their peers.
