Col. Thomas Brown, 72nd Air Base Wing Vice Commander, learns about the Air Force Cycling Team during the Bringing America’s Wing and Team Tinker Together (BAWTTT) Club Day, Oct. 14. BAWTTT is held to engage more members of Team Tinker in various clubs and organizations, encouraging community within diversity. Such clubs include: Cooking Club, Motorcycle Club, Car Club, Entertainment Club, Gaming Club, Arts and Crafts Club and Outdoor Recreation Club. Informational booths were accompanied by local food trucks as an attractive lunchtime event. Members of the 76th Commodities Maintenance Group’s boom shop and representatives from the Voluntary Protection Programs Integrated Design Team (VPP IDT) show off their design of a boom tube roller (working/non-official name), which they planned and executed together out of used existing parts. The $50 fix will help workers with the difficult and labor-intensive task of inserting the boom into the boom housing and not cause physical pain.
