Rodriguez, Federal Emergency Management Agency accountable property officer, inventories massive electrical generators delivered to the Glenwood Training Area Jan. 15, 2017, Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma. FEMA established an Incident Support Base where emergency assets and FEMA personnel like Rodriguez, who lives in Gardena, California, stage in response to the ongoing ice storm impacting the Central Plains region of the U.S. FEMA and the 72nd Air Base Wing have an agreement in place to use Tinker AFB due to its strategic location where two major interstate highways intersect along with a robust base infrastructure such as an 11,000 foot runway and cargo-handling facility.
