Link to map of gate closureTinker Gate Closure: Tinker Gate (I-40 & Air Depot Blvd) is closed for upgrades through January 2022. To handle the traffic, Eaker Gate (I-40 & Town Center Dr) is open with 24/7 access The Pass & ID Office location and hours remain the same. The following gates are the closest alternatives:
Eaker (Open 24/7)
Vance (5:30 a.m.-5 p.m., M-F) (NEW EXPANDED HOURS)
Hruskocy (5:30-9 a.m. & 1:30-5 p.m., M-F)

The closure is part of an ongoing $9.7 million renovation project to bring Tinker AFB's gates into compliance with DOD facility requirements. We understand that this closure will cause inconvenience and appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to improve our base.

The gate map lists all available gate hours and locations to help you plan alternative routes to work, in some cases using a less trafficked gate can get you to your destination faster.

Hruskocy (5:30-9 a.m. & 1:30-5 p.m., M-F),
Lancer (Open 24/7)
Logistics Access Point (EXIT ONLY, 1:30-3:30 p.m., M-F).

Hope Gate (#30) Exit Lane and Entrance Road Closure: The Hope Gate will be undergoing maintenance Oct. 4, 2021 until Nov. 1, 2021. The exit lane will be closed first and will then transition to the entrance lane. Flagmen and signage will be on site during the closure.

Parking Space Closure: Bldg. 2210 north parking lot from June 2, 2021 until Sept. 22, 2022. Thirteen parking spots to be occupied by the staging area that is requested for this project.

Parking Space Closure: Bldg. 280 parking lot from June 22, 2020 until Nov. 30, 2021. Thirty three parking spots will be closed.

Warehouse Dr. Intermittent Closure: Warehouse Dr., 60’ North of Intersection with Turbine Dr. (west of 3707, east of 3705): Work will be done to excavate street and work on fire water line. Steel plates will be placed over opening when work is not occurring. Traffic control measures will re-route around the area when work occurs.

Parking Space Closure: The parking lots around Bldg. 1089 and the Security Forces compound will have temporary loss of certain parking spots as pot holes and cracks in the asphalt are repaired. The number of affected spots should never exceed 30 spots.

Parking Lot Closure: North of Bldg. 9201 until Oct. 19, 2021. Interior renovation and new site utilities in buildings 9309 and 9301 necessitates the use of Bldg. 9201 north parking lot for semis and large equipment, dump trucks, etc., in and out of area.  Concrete demolition and earthwork will take place and will cause undue conflict with pedestrians and POV parking.

SEMI-ANNUAL FALL MAINTENANCE OUTAGE NOTIFICATION

Semi-annual fall maintenance outages will take place this weekend on the south side of the base in the Bldg. 9001 and Navy areas. All utilities – electrical, chilled water, domestic water, cooling tower PM and compressed air – will be affected from 11:30 p.m. Oct. 22 until 11:30 p.m. Oct. 24. These semi-annual outages are required for repair and cleaning of all systems.

Electric:
Rolling outages will take place Oct. 23 and 24 for Bldg. 9001.
Entire facility outages will take place Oct. 23 for Bldgs. 9301, 9305, 9306, 9307, 9309 and 9311

Chilled Water:
Outages will take place Oct. 24 in Bldgs. 9301 and 9001.

Hot Water:
Outages will take place Oct. 24 in Bldgs. 9301 and 9001.

Air Compressors:
Oct. 23 and 24 maintenance on Bldg. 821 air compressor will affect Bldgs. 821, 820, 825 and 830.
Outages will take place on Oct. 24 in Bldgs. 9301 and 9001.

Cooling Tower Cleaning/HVAC:
Outages will take place on Oct. 24 in Bldgs.  821, 824, 825 and 830.

Other outages include:

OG&E electrical outage: Bldgs. 989, Canopy Pavilion at Bldg. 989, Bldg. 985, Bldg. 986, Bldg. 963, Bldg. 964, Bldg. 976 and the ramp lights near Bldg. 989 from 11:30 p.m. Oct. 22 until 11:30 p.m. Oct. 24. 

Electrical outage: Bldg. 9001, Post X-19 to X-32, from 7 to 8 a.m. Oct. 23. 

Electrical outage: Bldg. 9001, Post T-28 to T-32, from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 23. 

Electrical outage: Bldg. 9001 Roof Vaults 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 from 7 a.m. Oct. 23 until 7 a.m. Oct. 24. New electric meters will be installed and switchgear will be disengaged for various equipment in each vault. Not every switchgear in each vault will be impacted, only some. 

Electrical outage: Bldg. 9309 from 7 a.m. Oct. 23 until 4 p.m. Oct. 24. 

Local electrical outage: Bldg. 9001; Post C38, from 7 to 8 a.m. Oct. 23

ELECTRICAL OUTAGES:

  • South end of Bldg. 3 until April 25, 2022. Full outage for Bldg. 3 for a full restoration of south end of the building. Removing all of the interior systems of the building including: fire alarm, fire suppression, electrical power, HVAC ductwork/air handlers, Internet, phones and natural gas.  All end users in the work zone have been relocated to other buildings for the duration of the project, except for OSI who will remain in the building.
  • Street lights inside and outside Tinker Gate until 3:30 p.m. Nov. 29, 2021. Alutiiq will disconnect 15 street lights so the KTR can begin demo. There will not be street lighting during this outage.

DOMESTIC WATER OUTAGES:  

  • South end of Bldg. 3 until April 25, 2022. Full outage for Bldg. 3 for a full restoration of south end of the building. Removing all of the interior systems of the building including: fire alarm, fire suppression, electrical power, HVAC ductwork/air handlers, Internet, phones and natural gas.  All end users in the work zone have been relocated to other buildings for the duration of the project, except for OSI who will remain in the building.

FIRE SUPPRESSION/FIRE ALARM/SPRINKLER OUTAGES:

  • South end of Bldg. 3 until April 25, 2022. Full outage for Bldg. 3 for a full restoration of south end of the building. Removing all of the interior systems of the building including: fire alarm, fire suppression, electrical power, HVAC ductwork/air handlers, Internet, phones and natural gas.  All end users in the work zone have been relocated to other buildings for the duration of the project, except for OSI who will remain in the building.

GAS OUTAGES: 

  • South end of Bldg. 3 until April 25, 2022. Full outage for Bldg. 3 for a full restoration of south end of the building. Removing all of the interior systems of the building including: fire alarm, fire suppression, electrical power, HVAC ductwork/air handlers, Internet, phones and natural gas.  All end users in the work zone have been relocated to other buildings for the duration of the project, except for OSI who will remain in the building.

HVAC OUTAGE:

  • Bldg. 9001 ASH Houses 14, 16, 20, 21, 35, 36, 37, 38, 44, 45, 46, 50, 51, 53, 58, 59, 73, 75, and 200 until 3:30 p.m. Dec. 1, 2021. Native Star Group will need the branch lines isolated and drained (by Alutiiq), with isolation valves remaining off.  This is an EMERGENCY repair project to remove and replace the coils in the listed ASH houses.  ASH houses will need to be isolated and shut down for the duration of the project, unless otherwise communicated to the government.
     
  • South end of Bldg. 3 until April 25, 2022. Full outage for Bldg. 3 for a full restoration of south end of the building. Removing all of the interior systems of the building including: fire alarm, fire suppression, electrical power, HVAC ductwork/air handlers, Internet, phones and natural gas.  All end users in the work zone have been relocated to other buildings for the duration of the project, except for OSI who will remain in the building.
