Piazza Gate Reopening AnnouncementPiazza Gate Reopening/Pegasus Gate Closure: The Piazza Gate (SE 74th St & S Midwest Blvd) is now open! Hours of operation are Monday - Friday, 5:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The temporary Pegasus Gate is now permanently closed.


Link to map of gate closureTinker Gate Closure: Tinker Gate (I-40 & Air Depot Blvd) is closed for upgrades through January 2022. To handle the traffic, Eaker Gate (I-40 & Town Center Dr) is open with 24/7 access The Pass & ID Office location and hours remain the same. The following gates are the closest alternatives:
Eaker (Open 24/7)
Vance (5:30 a.m.-5 p.m., M-F) (NEW EXPANDED HOURS)
Hruskocy (5:30-9 a.m. & 1:30-5 p.m., M-F)

The closure is part of an ongoing $9.7 million renovation project to bring Tinker AFB's gates into compliance with DOD facility requirements. We understand that this closure will cause inconvenience and appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to improve our base.

The gate map lists all available gate hours and locations to help you plan alternative routes to work, in some cases using a less trafficked gate can get you to your destination faster.

Hruskocy (5:30-9 a.m. & 1:30-5 p.m., M-F),
Lancer (Open 24/7)
Logistics Access Point (EXIT ONLY, 1:30-3:30 p.m., M-F).

Parking Space Closure: Bldg. 2210 north parking lot from June 2, 2021 until Sept. 22, 2022. Thirteen parking spots to be occupied by the staging area that is requested for this project.

Warehouse Dr. Intermittent Closure: Warehouse Dr., 60’ North of Intersection with Turbine Dr. (west of 3707, east of 3705): Work will be done to excavate street and work on fire water line. Steel plates will be placed over opening when work is not occurring. Traffic control measures will re-route around the area when work occurs.

Parking Lot (55 Spaces), Sidewalk and Door Closure: Bldg. 280 extended until 7 a.m. July 30, 2021. A portion of the parking lot will be demolished to provide a path to tie into water main as well as sidewalk to the northeast door, as well as the northeast entrance/exit door.  Northwest entrance will be available and may switch to southeast entrance at future date.  The area will be cordoned-off and alternate ingress/egress around construction area will be provided.

Parking Space Closure: West of Bldg. 3221 and east of Bldg. 3001 until 3:30 p.m. Aug. 13, 2021. Contractor will construct a 4" asphalt parking area with curb and gutter, impacting 184 parking spaces.

Parking Lot Closure: North of Bldg. 9201 until Oct. 19, 2021. Interior renovation and new site utilities in buildings 9309 and 9301 necessitates the use of Bldg. 9201 north parking lot for semis and large equipment, dump trucks, etc., in and out of area.  Concrete demolition and earthwork will take place and will cause undue conflict with pedestrians and POV parking.

Partial Parking Lot Closure: 552 ACW Parking Lot & South of Bldg. 461: June 28 - Aug. 20: 64 Parking spaces will be closed for OG&E to perform electrical work.

utility outages

ELECTRICAL OUTAGES:

  • South end of Bldg. 3 until April 25, 2022. Full outage for Bldg. 3 for a full restoration of south end of the building. Removing all of the interior systems of the building including: fire alarm, fire suppression, electrical power, HVAC ductwork/air handlers, Internet, phones and natural gas.  All end users in the work zone have been relocated to other buildings for the duration of the project, except for OSI who will remain in the building.
     
  • Notification of termination of utilities to facilitate demolition of Bldg. 935 (Old Control Tower) All utilities will be terminated and removed on June 1, 2021.
     
  • Bldg. 3; restrooms 109, 110, 203 and 204 and mechanical closets 103, 108 and 202 until noon July 31, 2021. Alutiiq will shut off electricity and gas for the KTR to repair/renovate restrooms.
     
  • Bldgs. 3234, 3703, fuel area on east side of 3707, 3715 and 3114 from 8 a.m. July 31, 2021, until 6 p.m. Aug. 1, 2021. OG&E will de-energize transformer #349781.  They will set new transformer #349781, install final wiring for the two transformers serving Bldg. 3234.
     
  • Bldg. 244 until 4 p.m. Sept. 30, 2021. Alutiiq to kill power to the building for the contractor to demo utilities to install new utilities.
     
  • Street lights inside and outside Tinker Gate until 3:30 p.m. Nov. 29, 2021. Alutiiq will disconnect 15 street lights so the KTR can begin demo. There will not be street lighting during this outage.

DOMESTIC WATER OUTAGES:  

  • Bldg. 244 until 4 p.m. Sept. 30, 2021 to allow the contractor to demo utilities to install new utilities
     
  • South end of Bldg. 3 until April 25, 2022. Full outage for Bldg. 3 for a full restoration of south end of the building. Removing all of the interior systems of the building including: fire alarm, fire suppression, electrical power, HVAC ductwork/air handlers, Internet, phones and natural gas.  All end users in the work zone have been relocated to other buildings for the duration of the project, except for OSI who will remain in the building.

FIRE SUPPRESSION/FIRE ALARM/SPRINKLER OUTAGES:

  • Bldg. 1056 until Sept. 1, 2021. Contractor is shutting down fire suppression and fire alarm during renovation of building.  Building will not be occupied during this process.
     
  • South end of Bldg. 3 until April 25, 2022. Full outage for Bldg. 3 for a full restoration of south end of the building. Removing all of the interior systems of the building including: fire alarm, fire suppression, electrical power, HVAC ductwork/air handlers, Internet, phones and natural gas.  All end users in the work zone have been relocated to other buildings for the duration of the project, except for OSI who will remain in the building.

GAS OUTAGES: 

  • Bldg. 3 restrooms 109, 110, 203 and 204 and mechanical closets 103, 108 and 202 until noon July 31, 2021, to shut off electricity and gas for the KTR to repair/renovate restrooms.
     
  • Bldg. 244 until 4 p.m. Sept. 30, 2021 so the contractor can demo utilities to install new utilities.
     
  • South end of Bldg. 3 until April 25, 2022. Full outage for Bldg. 3 for a full restoration of south end of the building. Removing all of the interior systems of the building including: fire alarm, fire suppression, electrical power, HVAC ductwork/air handlers, Internet, phones and natural gas.  All end users in the work zone have been relocated to other buildings for the duration of the project, except for OSI who will remain in the building.

AISLE CLOSURE:

CHILLED WATER OUTAGE:

None at this time

HVAC OUTAGE:

  • Bldg. 9001 ASH Houses 14, 16, 20, 21, 35, 36, 37, 38, 44, 45, 46, 50, 51, 53, 58, 59, 73, 75, and 200 until 3:30 p.m. Dec. 1, 2021. Native Star Group will need the branch lines isolated and drained (by Alutiiq), with isolation valves remaining off.  This is an EMERGENCY repair project to remove and replace the coils in the listed ASH houses.  ASH houses will need to be isolated and shut down for the duration of the project, unless otherwise communicated to the government.
     
  • South end of Bldg. 3 until April 25, 2022. Full outage for Bldg. 3 for a full restoration of south end of the building. Removing all of the interior systems of the building including: fire alarm, fire suppression, electrical power, HVAC ductwork/air handlers, Internet, phones and natural gas.  All end users in the work zone have been relocated to other buildings for the duration of the project, except for OSI who will remain in the building.
