Tinker AFB will be closed Monday, Jan. 26, through day shift and will reopen at 2 p.m. for swing shift.
Weather emergency essential personnel are expected to report for work as scheduled. Non-weather essential day shift personnel are not to report to work, however, telework eligible employees are required to telework or be in an approved leave status.
Civil Engineering is working through the night to clear parking lots and gates.
The Exchange and Commissary will open at 2 p.m. but parking lots may be uncleared. Please use caution.
The Installation Commander will continue to monitor conditions and provide updates on gate conditions tomorrow.
Base personnel should continue to monitor Tinker AFB social media accounts, website, or call the Tinker Straight Talk Line at 405-734-TALK (8255) for updated status information. Personnel are reminded NOT to call Base Operations, the Tinker Command Post, or Security Forces for weather updates.
UPDATES: The Piazza Gate and Hruskocy Gate will open at 1 p.m., to allow base access for swing shift employees to report as scheduled.
