Senior Airman April M. Song, 72nd Comptroller Squadron, recently won the Air Force Comptroller Aces High award. Airman Song is a customer service technician assigned to the 72nd Comptroller Squadron. Airman Song was born and raised in Seoul, South Korea. She worked as a licensed financial consultant for Northwestern Mutual Financial Network and later graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Florida State University in August 2005. Seeking new opportunities, Airman Song entered the Air Force in March 2006. Upon completion of basic training, Airman Song attended technical training at Keesler AFB, Miss., where she achieved academic excellence and Distinguished Graduate recognition. Airman Song processed more than 4,500 vouchers with a 99 percent accuracy rate and bested AFMC's timeliness standard of 95 percent. She led 92 PCS in-processing briefings for more than 3,700 members.
