Commentary: WiLD panel allows Team Tinker women to share professional, personal advice

Wendy Walden, director of staff for the Air Force Sustainment Center, participates in the Women in Leadership Discussion March 12 at Tinker Air Force Base, Okla. The event was hosted by the Women’s Initiative Team in celebration Women’s History Month. As director of staff, Ms. Walden is responsible for integrating daily operations, management, resources, facilities, and executive administrative activities in support of the AFSC Headquarters mission. Her role includes assisting the commander and executive director in overseeing operations which span three Air Logistics Complexes, three Air Base Wings, two Supply Chain Wings and multiple remote locations that incorporate approximately 40,000 military and civilian personnel.
