Rhonda Wright, logistics management specialist with the 848th Combat Sustainment Group, bowled an 823 series at the Tinker Bowling Center Feb. 28. She bowled a 246-277-300 for an 823 tying the center's high series score in history (Men 823/Women 781). Ms. Wright has received many accolades in the sport with four sanctioned 300 games, a 299 game, numerous 700 series, numerous 11 in roll plaques and the lifetime achievement award from WIBC for city high average (217) in 2006. 3/19/2008 - TINKER AIR FORCE BASE -- A Bass Fishing Tournament is planned for March 29 at Beaver Pond at the Base Fam Camp. The entry fee is $20 per person and includes lunch served from 11 to 11:30 a.m. Sign in from 11:30 to 11:45 a.m. and fish from noon until 2 p.m. There will be prizes based on 25 entries. Grand prize is $200, second place receives $100 and third place gets $45. Prizes will also be awarded for fourth through 10th places. This event is sponsored by Tinker Bowling Center and Environmental Management. Sign up no later than Wednesday at Tinker Bowling Center. For more information, call Maurice Smith at 734-3484. 
   Members First Plus! is accepted at the bowling center. For more information, call 734-3484. 
   Fridays are Special Function Days with special rates available for groups of 40 or more people. 
   Saturdays are Family Days. Lanes are $20 each for two hours of bowling and shoe rental from 1 to 5 p.m., with a maximum of four family members per lane. The Cosmic Party takes place from 7 to 10 p.m. Bowl for $2.75 per game with glow in the dark bowling and a live via satellite disc jockey taking music requests. Coupons are not valid during cosmic bowling. 
   Sundays are open bowling days from 1 to 5 p.m. 
   Mondays are Military Appreciation Days. Active-duty military in uniform can bowl two free games from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. 
   Tuesdays are colored pin bowling days. Bowlers who roll a strke when a colored pin is in the head position win a free game to be used on their next visit. Limit two free games per visit. 
   Rent-a-lane is Tuesday through Thursday from 2 to 4 p.m. for $12. There is a maximum of four bowlers. 
   Wednesdays are Senior Days. People 55 and older can bowl for 75 cents per game from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Also, join the fun during the open revolving Senior League, which includes three games, nine pin, no-tap for just $4 per person and a free cup of coffee. 
   The '50s are back on Thursdays. From 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., the center offers 50-cent hot dogs, bowling and shoes. 
   Children 18 and younger are invited to celebrate their birthday at the Tinker Bowling Center. The center offers three birthday packages to choose from. With each package, everyone receives a free game pass they can use on their next visit. 
   Each package includes a meal with the choice of hot dog, hamburger or chicken nuggets with french fries and a drink.

   Tinker Bowling Center is open from 1 to 10 p.m. Sundays, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Mondays, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesdays through Thursdays, 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. Fridays and 1 to 11 p.m. Saturdays. The center is closed on federal holidays
