7/23/2008 - TINKER AIR FORCE BASE, Okla.,  -- The Air Force Office of Special Investigations has just opened a new paid college internship position for "bright and talented" young men and women, seeking a job within federal law enforcement. Air Force OSI's mission is to identify, exploit and neutralize criminal, terrorist and intelligence threats to the U.S. Air Force, Department of Defense and U.S. Government. To do so, AFOSI investigates a wide variety of serious offenses to include: espionage, terrorism, crimes against property/people, fraud, drug use and distribution, and more. In addition, AFOSI also provides for opportunities in other specialized services such as behavioral science, forensic science, and polygraph examiners.

This AFOSI internship is a one-to-two-year paid commitment for full-time college students, where upon completion, successful interns will be offered a Federal Law Enforcement Special Agent position with AFOSI. Full-time college students (preferably in sophomore or junior year) or have just started a master's degree program, seeking an exciting and challenging career in federal law enforcement, should consider making AFOSI a future.
